Heyo!
How’re ya’ll doing? I just came back from Texas, so I’m allowed to say ya’ll.
I spent this last weekend in Austin, Texas with Rachael. We had an amazing time. If I had to sum up Austin in 3 bullets it would be:
Food - There are so many amazing restaurants (hmu for recommendations)
Live Music - Austin is known as the “Live Music Capital of the World”
Dogs - Everyone has a dog there and it seems like everywhere is dog friendly
As promised, here is my Austin in Austin post.
Anyways, welcome those just joining us! If you’re new here, please feel free to shoot me an email with your name, where you are from, and what you are building.
I have built so many great relationships through writing this newsletter; they all started with a simple intro email.

Finding My Brand As A Strategy Consultant
Recently, I’ve been giving a lot of thought to what I want my brand to be in the industry. So, I’ve been doing a ton of research about the different service offerings in the strategy consulting space.
I found this article and it outlines pretty much all the services you can offer as a strategy consultant. There are 8 main services:
Corporate strategy
Business model transformation
Economic policy
M&As
Organizational strategy
Functional strategy
Strategy & operations
Digital strategy
Of the different offerings, I am most interested in business model transformation. I have always loved learning about how businesses operate, and how they can operate more efficiently. Business model transformation focuses on the design and development of future-proof strategies while addressing fundamental changes in how business is conducted, often triggered by major changes in the external environment.
My goal is to learn as much as I possibly can about the strategy consulting space so I can identify where I want to be, and begin developing the skills and building relationships to help me get there.
If you have any recommendations about how to navigate this, please let me know!
