How To Visit All 50 States in 60 Days
After his daughters successful double lung transplant, Chris decided to take his family of six on a trip. Not an ordinary trip though…
A trip to visit all 50 states in 60 days.
He shares his strategy, route, vehicle, budget, and takeaways in this thread.
Not sure when I'll have 60 days for something like this, but would be a heck of a trip!
Honest Abe on Living Life to the Fullest
“And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.”
- Abraham Lincoln.
Jay Moriarty was a legendary surfer from Santa Cruz, California. He spent his time big wave surfing at Mavericks — where the waves can top out at 60 feet — but tragically died at 22 years old in a free diving accident.
The phrase “Live life Jay” emerged shortly after his death, inspiring many to embrace adventure and positivity — not necessarily to surf 60 foot waves, but to live life to the fullest.
Most people never "Life like Jay."
They don't take the trip to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
They don't take the new job.
They don't make the move.
Which is wild because it's not about how long you live — Jay only had 22 years — but the amount of life you live with the time you have. Just something to think about.
How Much You Have To Earn To Be in the 1%
I was listening to an episode of My First Million and the topic of the “1%” came up.
You hear the 1% thing getting thrown around in the news all the time. I was always curious what that actually looks like.
Turns out it's ~$820k / year.
Not there yet, but working on it.
